Series 6 Backwash Carbon Filter Tank - Chloramines, Fluoride, Heavy Metals, and Chlorine

Series 6 Carbon Backwash Whole house filter tank for the reduction of chloramines, fluoride, heavy metals, trihalomethanes (THM's), chlorine, taste & odor reduction for your whole house.  Mixed bed carbon tank are a must for those on city water supplies as they are designed to reduce chlorine and objectionable taste and odor from all the water entering into your home.  These should be used in conjunction with a Point-Of-Use drinking system for optimum filtration benefit.  These systems are virtually maintenance free and are easily installed.

Series 6 system is a mixed bed carbon tank that includes KDF and a backwash valve.

• Available in 2 sizes
  • CF12 - Up to 2,000,000 maximum capacity for chloramine reduction - Ideal for use in 2.5+ bath home/large family use.
  • CF14 - Up to 3,00,000 maximum capacity for chloramine reduction - Ideal for use in 3+ bath home/large family use.

• Series 6 units require 120v outlet for valve.  Units include bypass with 3/4" connectors.
• Backwash valve regenerates every 4-5 days, units require connection to a drain line for the backwash.

Chloramine reduction capacity based on 3ppm challenge.

These tanks are shipped empty with the media in separate boxes.  Media is to be filled into the tanks prior to installation by a licensed plumber or equivalent per local code/regulations.
